Naivasha Maingi Solar Park Project
The Naivasha Maingi Solar Park is a significant renewable energy initiative developed to augment Kenya’s clean energy supply. The project’s first phase involves constructing a 40MW grid-connected solar plant that will feed power directly into the national grid, supporting both households and industries. A planned second phase will expand capacity with a 75MW solar facility, which is intended to supply power directly to the Naivasha Industrial Park through a private Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) currently under negotiation.
