The Kenya SLCP project titled “the scale and status of Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs) emissions and impacts on women welfare in the global south project” is a 1-year project funded by the ClimateWorks Foundation and aimed at understanding the nature and impacts of short live climate pollutants in 8 counties in Kenya. Specifically, the project assesses black carbon from vehicular emissions(outdoor)in two towns of Nairobi and Nakuru; and from household biomass emissions(indoor)in six counties namely Nandi, Murang’a, Kajiado, Makueni, Taita Taveta and Garissa. The project is funded by ClimateWorks Foundation and is being implemented in collaboration with Kenya Meteorological Society, Joyful Women Organization, Council of Governors and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
