The Executive Director holds a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s Degree in Laws (LL.M) from the University of South Wales. He has worked at United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), Barclays Community and Multi-link Group. His passion for the environment has been evident in the transformational leadership that he has brought to all the organizations he has served. He is also a founder member of the Clean Cookstoves Association of Kenya as well as its first Vice-Chairperson. He also assisted in the establishment of the Greening Kenya Initiative Trust. He brings in vast experience and skills in environmental conservation, climate resilience, transition to a green economy, access to clean energy and cleaner cooking technologies. His leadership role in this field has gained recognition and commendation locally and globally. Among these are Jitihada Award 2014 and Africa Future Leader Award 2016.
